Wikipedia's loss of editors
Well over 49,000 editors have departed from Wikipedia in (the first quarter)Q1 of 2009.
Wikipedia has lost 10 times more editors in 2009 as opposed to the 4,900 from last year. The company claims that its recent loss has not had a massive effect as it still contains a stable number of editors. The amount of editors Wikipedia has is static as anyone who makes 5 or more edits is considered an editor.
