Youth Internet Survey (YouthNet)
A survey done by YouthNet an online charity, found that 75% of 16 to 24 year olds couldn’t live without the internet. 76% of the survey group acknowledged the internet to be a safe place.
Open University psychologist Graham Jones stated that people under their mid-20’s understand technology deeper as they grew up with it as opposed to parents who didn’t. He thinks that parents need to become more sophisticated as their children are vulnerable because they don’t know what their children are doing.
